Growing up poor with a single mother doing everything she could to put food on the table is something that will always stay with you. However, for Aaron Wyant, what also stuck with him was her resilience, determination and relentless work ethic that he eventually learned was necessary to achieve his dreams. Even though times weren’t always easy, looking back, everything he experienced was driving him towards his life’s purpose — creating Dispatch Tech to help DoD contractors and other businesses to protect their businesses and meet government regulations.

LEANING INTO HIS DESTINY

In 1981, Aaron was only six when his family moved to Hawaii. Although a beautiful, tropical destination, their family basically lived on the floor with little to their name and even less money, which ultimately sparked Aaron’s entrepreneurial spirit. “I remember this guy coming up to me and asking if I wanted to make some money for my family. He had beach mats in his hands, and he told me that if I could sell them for $2 each, I could keep $1. Even at six years old, I knew that a 50% profit was pretty good,” recalls Aaron. Since then, Aaron has always been looking for ways to improve the lives of his family members and those around him, but his entrepreneurial spirit is only part of the bigger picture.
